If you are fairly new to the game, you should know that Arcanas are extremely important in the game and it affects your heroes way too much and it can become game changing for you and your team. You should start finishing up your first Arcana page, which costs you 60,000 gold. It’ll be worth it, I promise. A complete Arcana page would be equivalent to 1.5 item which grant you powerful boost and huge advantages against your enemies. Below here, I’ll show you multiple ways to build your Arcana pages based on your favorite role. Remember, ONLY BUY LEVEL 3 ARCANAS!

Best Arcanas For Each Role

Red:

  • Tank (such as Maloch, Taara, Max)

-Obliterate (Attack Damage +3.2) x10

-Onslaught (Attack Damage +2, Armor Pierce +3.6) x10

-Indomitable (Attack Speed +1%, Max HP +33.7, Armor +2.3)  x10

  • Warrior (such as Lu Bu, Ormarr, Taara, Skud, Maloch, Arthur, Ryoma)

-Onslaught (Attack Damage +2, Armor Pierce +3.6) x10

  • Assassin (such as Butterfly, Batman, Zephys, Kriknak)

-Onslaught (Attack Damage +2, Armor Pierce +3.6) x10

  • Mage (Flash, Liliana, Marja, Jinna)

-Violate (Ability Power +4.2, Magic Pierce +2.4) x10

  • Marksman with Auto-Attack focused  (Violet, Tel’Annas, Slimz, Yorn, Valhein, Fennik, Wisp. Lindis)

-Atrocity (Critical Chance + 1.6%) x10

-Blitz (Attack Speed + 1.6%, Critical Chance +0.5%) x10

  • Marksman with Skill focused (Joker)

-Onslaught (Attack Damage +2, Armor Pierce +3.6) x10

-Tyrant (Critical Chance +0.5%, Max HP +60) x10

-Assassinate (Attack Damage +1.6  Movement Speed +1%) x10

  • Assassin (such as Butterfly, Batman, Zephys, Kriknak)

-Assassinate (Attack Damage +1.6  Movement Speed +1%) x10

  • Mage (Flash, Liliana, Marja, Jinna)

Green:

  • Attack Damage based hero

-Skewer (Attack Damage +0.9, Armor Pierce +6.4) x10

  • Ability Power based hero

-Flurry (Attack Speed +0.6%, Magic Pierce +6.4) x10

  • Supports

-Option A: Valiance (Max HP +37.5, Cooldown Speed +0.6%) x10

-Option B: Crusader (Armor +2.7, Magic Defense +2.7, Cooldown Speed +0.6%) x10

-Option C: Focus (Cooldown Speed +1%) x10

 

Breakdown- TLDR

For Red Arcanas, if you can’t decide which to get, it’s simple. Get Onslaught if you’re playing attack damage based hero most of the time, it can never go wrong on any attack damage based hero. If you’re a marksman main, get Atrocity. For mages, Violate. Indomitable for supports, early game attack speed and max HP will help a ton.

For Purple Arcanas, Tyrant for warrior/tank. Assassinate for assassins of course. Devour or Sap both is good for mages, it’s up to you. I would definitely prefer Sap for more Magic Life Steal. Otherwise, Guerrilla for 10% movement speed for roaming capabilities. And finally, Marksman. I personally prefer Reave for 16% lifesteal which is HUGE, or you can go half-half of Reave and Guerrilla. Get movement speed and Max HP for supports which is gonna be Benevolence, perfect and best in slot.

For Green Arcanas, there isn’t much good Arcanas here, Skewer for Attack Damage and Flurry for Ability Power. If you main supports, feel free to invest into Cooldown Speed Arcanas for quicker cooldown speed cap in the game.

Marksman that uses skill (Joker)- Onslaught x10, Assassination x10, Skewer x10

  • Attack Damage +45, Armor Pierce +100, Movement Speed +10%

Tanks/Fighter- Onslaught x10, Tyrant x10, Skewer x10

  • Attack Damage +29, Armor Pierce +100, Max HP + 600, Critical Chance +5%

Attack Damage Assassins- Onslaught x10, Assassination x10, Skewer x10

  • Attack Damage +45, Armor Pierce +100, Movement Speed +10%

Mage- Violate x10, Guerrilla x10, Flurry x10

  • Ability Power +42, Magic Pierce +88 Attack Speed +16%, Movement Speed +10%

UPDATE: Valhein Meta Build- Blitz x10, Guerrilla x10, Flurry x10

  • Attack Speed +32%, Critical Chance +5%, Movement Speed +5%, Magic Pierce +64
  • The new tanky Valhein build is really powerful right now at the moment. Valhein deals a lot of crowd control and damage while being really tanky. He has 100% ban or pick rate in eSports scene. Guide will be available soon in the future.

 

Conclusion

As you can see, the bonus from Arcanas is really huge compared with some other MOBAs out there currently. You’re like an item advantage whenever the game starts against an enemy player with no Arcanas. It’s a straight-up unfair matchup and you can bully the enemy in lane.

But, if you don’t have any Arcanas, it could backfire to you, vice versa. It’s really important to get your full level 3 Arcanas as soon as possible, especially if you haven’t already. Arcanas can really affect one’s gameplay either in the jungle or the lane.

The jungle clearing speed is based on your Arcanas. I would highly recommend completing your Level 3 Arcanas after you have bought 1 of your favorite hero and start playing it frequently. A full level 3 Arcanas would cost you a total of 60,000 gold and it could take really long to complete it, but it’ll be worth it.

The second option would be buying heroes and/or Magic Crystals with vouchers if you are willing to spend, it would help complete your full Arcanas Page as well. You have to be Level 30 to unlock all Arcanas slot.
