Peura
Peura is a supporting hero who possesses formidable healing and controlling abilities. Peura exists to provide an unyielding shield for her abilities in battle.
Abilities
Passive – Riposte
Peura is protected by the forest. When Peura takes damage she counter attacks and deals magic damage to the attackers and slows their movement speed. This effect only triggers once every 10 seconds.
Although this slow effect will only last for 1 second. Peura is able to make her escape easily after taking one hit.
Ability 1 – Healing Light
A healing light radiates out from under Peura’s feet, healing her own health as well as that of nearby teammates along while boosting their attack speed by 25% for 3 seconds.
This skill can be released while Peura is moving and can heal an additional 10% off lost HP. The greater the loss of health the greater the healing effect. It means that Peura is always able to help his teammates in the thick of battle.
Ability 2 – Forest Sentry
Peura summons an owl to attack enemies in front causing damage and a stun effect. This ability is a long range and directional control skill which can be used so strafe enemy ranks up to 6 times when he is able to inflict multiple rounds of damage on a single target. Peura is able to use this ability in combat to pin down multiple enemies at once as he works with his teammates to slay them.
Ultimate – Nature’s Rally
Peura brandishes her weapon and releases magic which increases her own and nearby teammates physical defense while dealing constant damage and a slowing effect on enemies within the area of effect.
This skill is one with a large area of effect. Enemies will be hit with a stun if they stay within the area of the skill for 2 seconds. Peura often relies on this skill in battle to deal massive damage to enemies.
Peura will often use her second skill along side his first one when enemies are low on health to effectively protect her teammates and possibly mount a counter attack. In team battles, after Peura has his her second skill to pin down enemy forces she can use her third skill to inflict tons of damage in combination with his other skills to help his teammates clean up the battle field.
In sum, Peura is able to inflict significant damage in team battles and effectively protect his teammates for them to gain victory.
Lore
The first time Peura saw the wings of Lauriel, she was being widly chased by Aleister. In fact, after Aleister defected from the Bright Temple, he started coveting the Fountain of Light under Lauriel’s protection. After all, it was a key ingredient for his magic experiments.
Luariel fell under siege of the Fallen and suffered severe injuries so she was left with no other choice but to escape into the Dark Forest. This is when she encountered the forest guardian, Peura, who lent her a helping hand.
However, Peura had no way to resist the destructive power of ALeister’s magic. In order to prevent Aleister from succeeding. Lauriel handed the Fountain of Light to Peura and stood her ground so that she may escape. Aleister was very cunning, however. He didn’t give them any chance as he dropped thunder on them and turned them black and blue.
“I will drink this all before I let him succeed!” The weakened Peura used her last bit of energy to drink the Fountain of Light and the light energy it contained burst throughout her body. In fact, the overflow of power even burst forward and healed the prostrate Lauriel before her eyes. With Peura’s help, Lauriel recovered and successfully defeated Aleister.
