Tel’Annas
Hi everyone, today we’re going to introduce Tel’Annas. Tel’Annas is a Marksman, who doesn’t have any particular movement abilities and thus she relies on her teammates for protection.
At the same time, her attack damage will get a boost when she is beside her teammates, and so team engagements are her strong points. Her very long-range allows her to provide heavy firepower support from the rear.
Of course, Tel’Annas most fearsome skill is her control powers. Once an enemy has been affixed by Tel’Annas, then they basically won’t get the chance to escape.
Ability Introduction
Passive: The Morning Star
Her attack power is increased by 10% when in the presence of nearby ally heroes. Be sure to fight near your allies as acting alone is not the way of a fragile Marksman.
Ability 1: Eagle Eye
Every normal attack will have an attached slow down effect which will stack up to 5 times. Active: It will greatly enhance her range, boost her attack speed, and her normal attack will carry additional magic damage. It will also stack another slowdown nerf on her target.
The main feature of her first ability is that it will give her a strong advantage when up against multiple enemy Marksman and is particularly useful for taking down towers. Let me share a valuable piece of info with everyone, that is that Tel’Annas attack range with her first ability exceeds even that of a tower.
This means that Tel’Annas can use her range to wear down the towers HP effectively. And thus break into the enemy camp.
Ability 2: Penetrating Shot
Tel’Annas will deal physical damage to enemies in a straight line while reducing the enemies movement speed by 2 seconds. Its damage will be lessened by 20% with every enemy it hits, down to a minimum of 40% damage.
Note: You must make sure to release it after clearing out the enemy minions. When in a battle, given the reduction in damage after the ability has struck multiple opponents. Other wise your second ability might be considered just a scratch from your opponents.
Ultimate: Arrow of Chaos
Tel’Annas fires out an arrow of Chaos after quickly concentrating her energies. This arrow will deal more physical damage the further the enemy.
In addition to throwing all enemies on its path backward, it will also stun them for 1.25 seconds and increase her movement speed by 30%. Her Ultimate has a super long range stun and will typically enjoy two main use cases.
The first is to throw out the ultimate to stun opponents in preparation for a large team engagement. But, this will be quite a large test of the player’s predictive power.
So when unsure of your accuracy, you can also choose its second primary technique. To fire the ultimate after your allies have controlled the enemies. They will have a 100% chance of hitting.
As a Marksman, Tel’Annas can only real deal damage when she has some gear on her. And thus she should try to develop in her lane as much as possible.
The bottom lane is shorter than the upper lane and it is quite easy to reinforce the middle lane from there. Hence, it could be considered relatively more stable for Tel’Annas in getting through the early game in a steady manner.
In the same way, Tel’Annas, after she reaches level 4 and gets her ultimate, can exert control with a leading shot from her ultimate and work with her allies and try and take out her opponent in one wave.
Once the kill is successful, then she will be able to quickly widdle down the enemy towers HP. Tel’Annas in the middle or late game is supported by her equipment and should be hanging around her team mates more often in larger engagements as most Assassins, she will be facing it this point will also have access to a complete set of gear.
Traveling alone will not only put your allies into difficulties where they may be numerically outnumbered but will also put you at risk of being taken out in isolation by Assassins. Flicker would be quite a decent choice for her since Tel’Annas does not have any special movement abilities.
The Might Golem can dramatically boost Tel’Annas trapping abilities. Hence, it might be best to make sure that you have the red buff on you before team engagements. As, by the way, Tel’Annas can use her second ability to harass her enemies before the battle begins. After it has started in earnest it will be enough for her to active her first ability directly and then lend firepower support from the real.
Lore
After bidding farewell to her verdant homeland where she had slumbered for a millennium, the newly awakened Elven Queen Tel’Annas shone like the morning star.
AS one of the valiant warriors who resisted the first invasion by the dark forces, the legend of Tel’Annas and her unrivaled archery skills became the subject of numerous songs and poems throughout the centuries. Renowned for her remarkable deeds in the decisive final battle against the invading horde, it was Tel’Annas who shot the lone arrow that mortally wounded the Lord of Darkness, securing the survival of all living things that had lost the protection of the Gods in this terrifying episode in history.
However, Tel’Annas paid the ultimate when her body and mind were corrupted by the dark power unleashed by the Lord of Darkness in his final moment. She was forced to seal herself and fall into a deep sleep that would last a thousand years, until all of the dark power within her was neutralized. For the entire duration of her slumber, Maloch, the successor of the Lord of Darkness, tried to break the seal and take the dark power inside Tel’Annas, but the seal was far stronger than he imagined.
Seeing his opportunity during the second invasion by the dark forces, Maloch ordered a massacre of the Afata, forcing Tel’Annas to break the seal and return to the battlefield. Her striking face bore not a trace of the thousand years that had passed, and her mastery over her formidable power showed that she was fully capable of manipulating the explosive dark power that coursed through her. Confronting the army of demons, spirits and corrupted souls, Tel’Annas once again drew her bow to defend the life and dignity of all living things.
“The radiance of the morning star will forever protect this land.”
