Material Farming Guide [For Weapon Crafting and Character Upgrading]

Overview

Welcome to the material farming guide. We will give you all the details you need to farm efficiently in Dragalia Lost!

Weapon Crafting Materials

You are going to need a lot of rupies and materials to craft your weapons. I am going to break down the rupies you need to upgrade a weapon all the way to its fully unbinded elemental version.

  • 3☆ Weapons – 90,000 rupies
  • 4☆ Weapons – 720,000 rupies
  • 5☆ Weapons – 5,375,000 rupies

As you can see, it costs a lot to max out a 5☆ elemental weapon for just 1 character. Now imagine doing it for 3 more characters! I recommend going after 4☆ weapons as they cost way less and easier to craft in the mid-late game. Now, let’s look at the weapon types and what materials are required to craft them.

Enhancement Materials

The Light Metal is used for 3 star weapon enhancements. It is available in Beginner, Standard and Expert Dragon Trials of any element.

The Abyss Stone is used for 4 star weapon enhancements. It is available in Expert and Master Dragon Trials of any element.

The Crimson Core is used for 5 star weapon enhancements.. You can get them from Master Dragon Trials of any element.

The Twinkling Sand is used for 5 star elemental weapon enhancements. So far it is only available in special events as rewards.

Insignia

Regular elemental (Vermilion, Azure, Jade, Amber, Purple) insignia can be gotten from Standard, Expert and Master in The Imperial Onslaught.

Royal (Vermilion, Azure, Jade, Amber, Purple) insignia can only be gotten from Master in The Imperial Onslaught.

If you want to farm regular insignia, do Experts. For royal ones, Master is the only option.

Level Upgrade Materials

Bronze, silver and gold crystals are used to level up your characters. You can get them from doing Avenue of Power.

  • Beginner – Bronze, silver
  • Standard – Bronze, silver, gold (rare)
  • Expert – Bronze, silver, gold

You will want to do Expert as soon as your team can handle it because the daily crystal bonus is 6-8 gold crystals! That means 14-16 gold crystals for 2 runs guaranteed.

Dragonfruits are used to level up your dragons. You can get Dragonfruits and Ripe Dragonfruits from Dragon Trials (Any Element) and also the Dragon Tree from your castle. The Succulent Dragonfruit doesn’t drop so the current option is to buy it from the trade shop for 10,000 rupies each (max 3 buys per day).

Whetstones are used to upgrade your weapons. You can also use other weapons to upgrade your main weapon. You can farm for whetstones in The Imperial Onslaught of any element.

  • Beginner – Bronze, silver
  • Standard – Bronze, silver, gold
  • Expert – Bronze, silver, gold
  • Master – Bronze, silver, gold

Mana Circle Materials

Mana circle materials are easy to farm, but mana can be harder to farm since there isn’t a specific event we can do to get it. Mana can be gotten via missions (about 10 mana per stamina usually), friend helper, daily quest, rewards from item summon, feeding dragons and special events.

Elemental Orbs

Elemental orbs are used in many things aside from mana circle nodes. It is also used for upgrading buildings as well. The schedule for elemental orbs work like this:

Elemental Ruins

  • Saturday – Shadow

The difficulty levels determine what drops you get.

  • Beginner – Small and medium elemental orbs
  • Standard – Small and medium, large and rainbow elemental orbs
  • Expert – Small and medium, large and rainbow elemental orbs
