Feather Farming Guide

Feather Farming Guide

Overview

Welcome to the Feather Farming Guide! In this guide we will cover Friend Greetings, Feathers from the Castle room, and feathers earned through the Arena PVP combat.

Friend Greetings

Friend Greetings is one of the slower ways to collect Feathers in Fire Emblem Heroes. You can collect these feathers periodically by sending one of your units to Greet your friends, or when a friend sends out a unit to greet you and other people on your friends list.

So add as many people as you can so you can always have a nice rotation of feathers coming in. You will see a friends unit appear at the bottom of the screen, then you can tap on them to collect the reward.

Tapping Your Unit (Home Castle)

You can find units on your Throne Room scene with hearts fluttering above their heads. Tap on these units to receive a thoughtful message from them, and a small gift of feathers. This happens randomly, and can sometimes take a moment to appear when you come to the Throne Room screen, so stay on it for a moment when you start the game to see if you have any feathers.

Sending Heroes Home

As you collect duplicate units or units you don’t want or no longer need, you have the option of either sending them home, or merging them with a duplicate unit and sending them home. Sending them home without combining them gives you less Feathers, than if you were to send back a unit merged into a duplicate unit. Each time you do that it increases the amount of feathers over what you would get if it was just a singular unit.

You can send home a maximum of 10 units at a time. Usually you don’t want to keep most of the 3 stars unless they’re one of those rare units that have a certain skill you need for your team composition. Otherwise, they’re expendable and a nice way to farm feathers. Always try to merge units before sending them home if you can.

The Arena

The Arena is a PVP based combat system, where you face off against an AI controlled enemy team. There are several difficulty levels, that award you with more Arena points. The higher your arena score, along with your chain bonus from winning, determines how many feathers you will receive based on your offensive rating. Your defensive stats come from how many people have faced off against your team and have lost to your team comps defenses.
