Fun Competitive Decks: Magnet Warriors and Blue Eyes Kaibaman

Overview

In this article we will see some fun decks that can be made with the new cards from the card trader like Kaibaman and also the Yugi Muto new event cards Magnet Warriors. While the cards alone could be weak, with some cards synergy we can build some fun and also strong decks to compete against other players.

Blue-Eyes Kaibaman

With the addition of new cards from the card trader, one of those was the Kaibaman card that allow us to tribute it to special summon 1 “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” from your hand, similar to how works the Red Eyes B. Chick, only that with Kaibaman you don’t need to send it to the Graveyard to use its effect and that allow us to create nice tempo plays with the help of other cards.

This deck is very fast pace and we are going to use Last Gamble Joey skill, so until we can use this skill, you can stall either using set Blue Dragon Summoner or using Enemy Controller to protect our life points. When using the skill you can discard according to the board situation: a Blue-Eyes Dragon, Dragon Summoner, Kaibaman or an Enemy Controller.

Now depends on your luck to roll 3 or higher with the Last Gamble skill and draw or already have in hand a Wild Tornado, another spell/trap card and a Storm card, that way you can clear the enemy backrow to avoid any kind of removal like Order to Charge, Enemy Controller, Skull Lair, and also destroy 1 or 2 opponent’s face up cards.

After that you must summon Kaibaman to special summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon from your hand and then set Champion’s Vigilance, that way in case that the opponent has a Sphere Kuriboh in hand and you fail to attack with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the next turn you will be safe against whatever your opponent tries to do with your already set trap card.

Almost all match ups are favorable due the high clear board with Wild Tornado and Storm combo, also if you manage to have a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and a set Champion’s Vigilance you can negate anything from your opponent like 1 spell/trap card or 1 summoned monster. With this deck you can reach KoG with some grind in ranked matches and some luck with your Last Gamble dice rolls.

Magnet Warriors

With the recently ended event, some players were lucky enough to get some of the duel drops rewards from Yugi Muto, and along these rewards were the Magnet Warriors: Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Valkyrion warriors.

These cards have a great combo that allows the player to summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior if you have the other 3 cards in the field or hand, you can also tribute Valkyrion the Magna Warrior to special summon from the Graveyard one of each Alpha the Magnet Warrior, Beta the Magnet Warrior and Gamma the Magnet Warrior.

This open us so many combos and versability and thanks that all the monster cards besides Valkyrion the Magna Warrior are normal monster cards, if you want to use Order to Charge but you have Valk in board, you can tribute it and special summon the other 3 normal monster cards if you have them in the graveyard.

But besides that combo, we are going to use the help of a recently added card trader card: Delta the Magnet Warrior. This card will help us to thin our deck and create another way to summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior. When summoning it you can send 1 level 4 or lower “Magnet Warrior” card to the Graveyard and also when this card it’s sent to the graveyard, you can banish 3 level 4 “Magnet Warrior” cards to special summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior from your hand or deck.

The only downside of this is that you won’t be able to use the effect of Valkyrion the Magna Warrior because you need to banish 3 “Magnet Warrior” cards but this combo could help to deal final attacks against the opponent.
You can also use 2 White Elephant’s Gift to thin the deck or using low attack monsters like Alpha the Magnet Warrior and Gamma the Magnet Warrior you can use the Mystic Box card to destroy the opponent’s monster card and give control of a low attack magnet warrior to destroy it with Beta the Magnet Warrior if you don’t have any Order to Charge cards.
